Flying with children can be difficult for everyone involved — parents, fellow passengers, and flight attendants. One airline finds it to be such an inconvenience, however, that they will begin testing designated zones where children under 12 will not be allowed to sit.

IndiGo, a low-cost carrier in India, recently said it would introduce "Quiet Zones" where young children are not seated. On Twitter, IndiGo said the zone will take up rows one to four and 11 to 14 — a total of eight rows.

In a statement reported by an NBC news affiliate, IndiGo said the zones were created in the best interest of passengers traveling for work. The statement read, "These zones have been created for business travelers who prefer to use the quiet time to do their work."

The announcement has been met with mixed feedback on Twitter, however, IndiGo will continue on with their unprecedented proposal.
