Artist Mo Willems Is Hosting a Free Democracy Doodle For Families on Election Night

Mo Willems is hosting a free event for families on election night! In an effort to help parents and kids alike de-stress, the Emmy Award-winning writer is inviting everyone to tune into an engaging drawing session with musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra.

"I want you to join me for a Democracy Doodle 2020," Mo says in the video. "It's a very important election, and a lot of people on other screens are going to be saying very important things. We are going to doodle. I hope that you will take the time with your family to sit down, have a break, and express yourself."

Head to the Kennedy Center's website at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 3 to engage in a creative exercise with your kiddos. Families can also take a walk down memory lane by checking out Mo's Lunch Doodles video series from earlier in the year.
