This Son Paid Tribute to His Fallen Father With a Heartbreaking Photo Shoot

Louisiana State Police trooper Steven Vincent was 43 years old when he was fatally shot by a suspected drunk driver he had pulled over. He was survived by his wife, Katherine, and their 9-year-old son, Ethan.

Just months after his father's tragic death, Ethan is paying tribute to him with a touching photo shoot. Photographer April Reeves recently captured Ethan posing with his fallen father's campaign hat and flag. However, the shoot's most chilling photographs feature Ethan standing alongside a photoshopped rendering of his father.

In a Facebook post, Reeves wrote, "I truly hope that when he is older he is as happy to have these treasures as I was to capture them for him. This child is amazing, strong, and so very proud of his dad." She added, "There is something about the way he lit up when talking about his dad and the pride radiated from him when he placed that hat on his head."
