Tyson Foods, Inc. has recalled nearly 2.5 million pounds of its ready-to-eat breaded chicken products due to undeclared allergens. The chicken products — ranging from nuggets to patties — could contain milk, a known allergen, but Tyson failed to include this information on its labels.
However, for this recall, you don't need to check your bags of nuggets in the freezer — the recall affects food products served in schools and other institutions.
On June 6, 2017, Tyson received a message from a supplier that the breadcrumbs used in these products could have contained milk. The products affected — listed below — were produced and packaged between Aug. 17, 2016, and Jan. 14, 2017.
