5 Women Tried On Beyoncé's Swimsuit, and This Is What Happened

We're not surprised that Beyoncé's one of the many style stars who prefer a Mara Hoffman swimsuit. Mara Hoffman has rolled out countless one-pieces and bikinis that feature intricate design details but are unbelievably flattering on many different body types.

However, when Queen Bey 'grammed herself in the Mara Hoffman Lattice Maillot, a dusty-rose full-piece complete with symmetrical side cutouts embellished with beads, we shrugged our shoulders. "We could never wear that," we thought. Or could we?

Once the idea was in our heads, we had to follow through. Five editors were brave enough to front the camera in Beyoncé's exact bathing suit, even if we didn't all have the #flawless curves to go with it. Read on to see us strike a few poses — all influenced by Bey's song titles — and know this: each one of us went in to the shoot thinking, "I am . . . Sasha Fierce."

The first shot we saw of Beyoncé in the Mara Hoffman Lattice Maillot one-piece was on Instagram. The singer looked fierce showing off her long braid and the swimsuit's diagonal cutouts.

Beyoncé posted plenty of shots on her site of her modeling the cutout one-piece. She flaunted her curves and toned arms by sticking out her booty and striking the ultimate power pose.

Beyoncé's got a love for flash tattoos, and she accessorized her Mara Hoffman swimsuit accordingly.

"At first I was so nervous to rock this swimsuit in front of the camera — the cutouts made it seem so skimpy. And while the suit was definitely what I would describe as 'cheeky,' I was actually pleasantly surprised by the way it fit overall."

"My initial reaction before I put the suit on was, 'hell no!' But then I put it on, and I actually really liked it. However, I wouldn't wear this one as a bathing suit. From the waist up, I thought it was so flattering and unexpected, but the cut of the bottom was supersexy. I think it would be cute styled as a bodysuit with a pair of high-waisted vintage Levi's cutoffs and ankle boots or sandals. As a bathing suit? Well, we can't all be Beyoncé!"

"The suit itself is gorgeous. It probably would have felt a little more comfortable in the printed style instead of solid blush. I normally wear bikinis, so for a one-piece, it felt tight but sexy at the same time."

"When I first saw the swimsuit in person, all I could think of were the areas it wouldn't flatter. Would the cut be too cheeky? Would the lattice effect give me crazy tan lines? But once I pulled the suit on, I was delightfully surprised. Though the dusty-rose shade isn't my color of choice, it's amazing how slender and secure I felt in such a sexy suit. I may not have as much cleavage as Queen Bey, but the Mara Hoffman one-piece gave me enough confidence to show off my other assets."

"While I was nervous to put on such a sexy suit, after I posed for the camera, I realized I had all that anxiety for nothing. The design made me feel secure in my chest area, and when paired with neutral pumps, it made my legs look toned."
