Kate Middleton Keeps Things Understated and Elegant For a Somber Event

On Nov. 28, Kate Middleton stepped out alongside Prince William in Leicester, England, to pay tribute to the five people who were tragically killed in a helicopter crash at the Leicester City Football Club's King Power Stadium on Oct. 27. For the somber event, the Duchess of Cambridge kept things understated and elegant.

She wore a gray Catherine Walker coat dress, which she debuted in August when she attended a Sunday service at Balmoral. This time, she paired it with black tights, black pumps, the Aspinal Midi Mayfair bag ($725), and floral pearl earrings. She also tied her hair back with a velvet ribbon.
