Penélope Cruz Traded Couture For . . . H&M?!

She walked the Oscars red carpet in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, but when Penélope Cruz switched into a custom gown at the Vanity Fair afterparty, we didn't expect it to be H&M. The actress's flamenco-inspired, midnight-blue, ruffled gown was made from sustainable materials and was created especially for the actress and the occasion by the in-house design team at H&M.

Obviously, it's a breath of fresh air to see a celeb sporting a high-street look on the red carpet, but that's not even the best part about this gown. It gets even better, since a similar style will be available at H&M as part of the Conscious Exclusive collection, launching next month. That's right, in this case you don't just have to admire the red carpet; you can shop it, too.
