I’m Blushing After Seeing Rihanna’s Sheer Met Gala Afterparty Skirt From the Back

Rihanna might have been covered up from head-to-toe on the Met Gala red carpet, but whew, was her afterparty look a totally different story! After arriving fashionably late to the annual ball in a billowing Balenciaga gown reminiscent of a chic duvet cover, the billionaire multihyphenate strolled up to her highly anticipated afterparty in a modern-day, flapper-style outfit, also by Balenciaga. She tied up a simple black Re/Done T-shirt on one side, fashioning it into a crop top, and added a completely sheer jewel-trimmed skirt for that "wow" factor.

Similar to her gala getup earlier in the evening, Rihanna piled on the shiny accessories, subbing in a black bedazzled headpiece and adding several diamond bracelets and rings, a silver and black choker, Nikos Koulis tassel necklace, glitzy earrings, a fuzzy clutch with silver chains, and Amina Muaddi heels with jeweled ankle straps. Note to self for future reference: wearing all black and a boatload of diamonds is the way to go for afterparties from here on out.
