With a theme like camp, we could only expect the 2019 Met Gala red carpet to be a full-on spectacle . . . and man, oh man, were we right. While cochair Lady Gaga's theatrical reveal/striptease/cabaret-esque production of her Brandon Maxwell dress of many dresses went on for more than 12 minutes, cochair Serena Williams hit the carpet looking like a real-life superhero and supervillain.

What do we mean? With her electric-hued chartreuse gown by Versace with glitter-flecked autumnal leaves, our first instinct was to assume a reference to the fictional cartoon supervillain Poison Ivy. And channeling a superhero on the red carpet sounds pretty darn campy to us! To level up the camp factor, the tennis champion revealed coordinating Off-White x Nike high-top sneakers for a result that we can categorize as comfy-camp done right.

Ahead, scroll through for a look at Serena's dress from every angle, including a close-up of her killer sneakers, which we need in our closets ASAP.
