Break a Sweat in Misty Copeland's New Under Armour Collection For Uncontainable Women

Not only is Misty Copeland one of the best ballerinas in the world, she's a champion for all women. Being that she spends multiple hours a day training, Misty knows the importance of functional workout gear. Keeping performance and style in mind, Misty and Under Armour recently released her third workout collection.

In a press release, Under Armour said the collection is "for the many other uncontainable women out there — those who wear many hats, who stand out in a room and who make their presence known." The collection is all about style and performance, and is made from a performance-based fabric, the designers explained at a brunch ahead of the launch.

When designing the collection, Misty and the Under Armour team focused on creating seamless, comfortable, supportive, and versatile pieces. "It's extremely important for me. As a ballerina, if I do dance in these clothes in rehearsal, if I'm being partnered, I can't have anything that's going to get in the way," she said. Misty loves all the pieces, but shared that one of her favorites are the high-waisted leggings. "It's just become a staple in the line now. It's the base we work from," she said.
