This Full-Body Workout Set to "You Need to Calm Down" Is Upbeat, Punchy, and Pitch Perfect

Taylor Swift has been a pop mainstay for long enough that at least a few of her songs have probably made it onto your workout playlist. No? Cue "You Need to Calm Down," the second single from Taylor's new album, Lover. It might be a little slow for your running mix (I, a snob, have very rigorous BPM requirements), but for this full-body workout from fitness YouTuber Maddie Lymburner, the track is pretty much pitch perfect. I now have a working theory that Taylor wrote the chorus to sync up perfectly with air squats and lunges. Watch the full video above and try to tell me I'm wrong. It looks pretty challenging (don't sign me up for the floor touch jump squats at the end . . . ) but it's also light, bright, and so fun to watch.
