In honor of National Bike Month, this video is an oldie but a goodie, illustrating that while using the bike lane may seem like the safer, legal option, sometimes it's not. This guy films himself purposely riding into things from cones to cop cars, just to prove his point.

On a side note, while we support this video urging cops to ticket the ones blocking the bike lanes, at the risk of sounding like this guy's mom, one thought comes to mind — where's his helmet?! With all these insane street obstacles, not to mention the oblivious car drivers, any city-riding head could use the extra protection.
