How to Make an Ikea Cabinet Look Like a West Elm Stunner

When Place of My Taste blogger Aniko fell for this $1,200 West Elm buffet, she did what any budget-conscious design blogger would do and re-created it with an impressive Ikea hack. The foundation for her eye-catching hack are two $99 Ikea Besta cabinets shoved together, but her smartest move comes next.
For her reclaimed wood, Aniko went to a local business that makes wood pallets and asked if they'd be willing to part with any leftover wood scraps. She left with enough free wood to complete her project. Score!
She used small trigger clamps to hold the wood panels to the door and attached the panels with wood screws to the doors.
