As the holidays approach, many of us are shopping while listening to cheerful Christmas music that may not reflect how we're feeling. Post-election, many Americans are feeling distraught over the impending Trump presidency, and singer-songwriter Fiona Apple took it upon herself to create the ultimate anti-Trump holiday anthem.

Apple's parody of "The Christmas Song" includes lyrics that are more representative of how she's feeling this December. The song begins, "Trump's nuts roasting on an open fire, as he keeps nipping at his foes," and continues to the very poignant lyric, "Mothers of colors with their kids out of sight, will find it hard to sleep at night."

The song is a reminder that this holiday season, while some families might be celebrating the end of the year, others might be dreading it.
