They say lions rule the animal kingdom, but we're pretty sure that Choupette Lagerfeld is far more worthy of that distinction. At the very least, the feline is fashion royalty — her master is Chanel's creative director, Karl Lagerfeld — and is purr-fectly poised. Her sleek sophistication has not gone unnoticed. "Choupette is always on her feet. She loves to jump around and hide and will never turn down a high-speed chase; when I'm kind of her personal trainer. The rest of the time, she practices cat yoga: the Cat Pose, Downward-Facing Dog, the Cobra — she's mastered them all."
Hair and Makeup Tips
"We brush her fur up to six times a day with a metal brush. It's her favorite time of day, especially on the neck and tummy. As for her eyes, they're cleaned daily with Ocryl."
Her Diet
"A combination of two types of dry kibble from Hill's Science Diet Plan: the first, is plant-based to ensure soft and shiny fur while limiting the formation of hairballs, while the second is great for keeping her skin hydrated. From time to time she might treat herself to a little sauce-based dish or a chicken paté — bought at the vet — for a bit of fun. Whatever's on the menu, it's washed down with the finest carbon-filtered water, which she drinks straight from the fountain."
