Hailee Steinfeld Wore One of Fall's Biggest Beauty Trends at the VMAs

Hailee Steinfeld matched her makeup and nails to her red dress at the MTV VMAs, opting for one of Fall 2019's biggest makeup trends: monochrome. Steinfeld's long, almond-shaped nails, lipstick, and blush were all the same shade of red, making it a stellar single-shade makeup look.
Makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez lined Steinfeld's lips with YSL Dessin Des Levres Lip Liner in N.10 Vermillion ($30) and filled them in with YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Slim N.23 Mystery Red ($40).
The singer paired her scarlet ensemble with brushed-out brows and a subtle cat eye, and her hair was styled in loose waves by Laura Polko.
