I took Biotin for a long time, but I have to warn that it causes skin problems in some people. If you are acne-prone, be careful. I took it for over a year and my skin was terrible. I decided the hair growth wasn't worth it. My skin was clearer within a week or so. It's been a few months since I stopped taking it and I haven't had a single breakout (not even around that time of the month).

Just tried growing out a short hair cut and it took me almost a year and half to do it. Now, it's long again, but, won't be doing that again anytime soon! Have been shedding a lot of hair lately and biotin supplement seems to be helping as well as Argan oil.

Biotin will speed the growth of leg hair. At least it did for me (so did taking hair growth vitamins that contained lots of B vitamins). It wasn't pretty.
