Katy Perry's Newest Hairstyle Is Giving Us Major Miley Vibes

We had to do a double take while looking at Katy Perry's most recent Instagram, because the singer is giving us major Miley Cyrus vibes. Before Miley shocked the world with her wardrobe and risqué performances, she shocked everyone by coloring her hair platinum and giving up her long locks for a supershort cut.

Katy, who recently has been changing up her look by sporting a number of wigs, has committed to baby blond by going shorter with her hair, which is giving us similar vibes to Miley's choppy sides and longer top. Coincidentally, celebrity stylist Chris McMillan, the same man who cut Miley's hair, also gave Katy her new cropped look. As for the color, Katy thanked celebrity colorist and dpHue Creative Director Justin Anderson and colorist Melinda Miller-Rider for taking her typically brunette locks to the lightest level possible.

Katy documented the process on her Instagram Story, showing her dog, Butters, grabbing a hold of pieces of chopped hair and finishing with a photo of Michelle Williams, who she said she was inspired by.
