Watch How 1 Makeup Artist Transforms Her Patient Husband Into a "Manicorn"

Fans of rainbow hair color are likely familiar with beauty influencer @kristenxleanne. The makeup artist and model is also the founder of Arctic Fox, a range of cruelty-free, vibrant dyes. Both she and her husband, Ryan (@theryanmorgan), sport vividly tinted strands, but she recently demonstrated how even the bleach averse can embrace their inner unicorn without harsh dyes. What makes this tutorial special, however, is that Ryan — and his facial hair — is the model, and he is transformed into a "manicorn."

Leanne used Pop Beauty Lashy Flashy Mascara ($16) in Purple Passion, Blue Bloom, and Tantalizing Teal to create an ombré effect on her husband's face. She started at the brows with the turquoise hue and worked her way down to the mustache, which she coated with a blend of turquoise and blue, then finished with a blue and purple beard. Ryan was quite patient throughout the entire process and honestly seemed to love his results, which he revealed was transfer- and smudge-proof.
