Dove Cameron's Chrome Reverse French Manicure Is Futuristic Beauty at Its Finest

Dove Cameron is once again giving us some serious inspiration for our manicure mood boards. The singer recently posted a series of photos on Instagram showing off her outfit as she got ready for the premiere of "Good Mourning" in Los Angeles, and her nails pulled her entire look together.

Cameron had on a striking, minimal reverse french manicure that incorporated one of the biggest nail colors of the season: silver chrome. Manicurist Mel Shengaris kept Cameron's nails a soft, rounded almond shape and the base of her nails bare, save for the thin lines on the curve of each nail. The nail art, which perfectly complements Cameron's edgy style, is an updated version of the classic french manicure. The style is also pretty similar to the inverted and metallic french tips that were having a moment last year, so we're sure we'll be seeing different variations of this look all over Instagram soon.

To take the manicure up a notch, Cameron added silver finger caps to some of her fingers. That, plus her smudged smoky-eye makeup and futuristic sunglasses, made Cameron look like a seamless fit into the Matrix universe.
