Gabrielle Union Debuted Blond Hair, and We Have One Word: Fierce

It's official: Gabrielle Union is blond. (Although, I have to admit, when I first saw the new photos of Union on Instagram, I noticed her purpled-hued, intergalactic winged shadow before her new hair color.) On Thursday, the actor posted multiple photos of her new hair color on Instagram, captioning the post, "Turns out I'm not having any more fun than usual 🤷🏾‍♀️." We have to say that Union looks great as a blond, although she looks great whatever she does with her hair or her makeup and whether that's going wild and crazy or wearing nothing at all.

Look closely, and you'll also notice something else about Union's new hue: her roots are dyed a beautiful shade of burgundy red, a color that harmonizes with both her eye makeup and her mulberry-colored velvet suit. But that's not where the change stops. Union also gave this season's trendiest haircut a go: the blunt bob.

It's not clear whether she dyed her real hair; however, it's likely that she's just trying the shade out for a short time. Either way, it's a fierce shade on her. Ahead, get a closer look at Union's new hue, as well as her equally fabulous velvet suit.
