For many women, facial hair has been considered a taboo topic, but Justine Skye got real about hers in a new makeup tutorial she filmed with Vogue. The singer took us through her entire beauty and skin-care routine, touching on how she goes about removing hair from her face before she does her makeup.

"This is a big secret of mine, I've actually never said this to anyone, but, you know, ladies, sometimes you have a little . . . ," she said at the start of the video, gesturing to her upper lip area. "I don't like to laser. Everyone says [to get] laser hair removal or like threading, which is so painful." Instead, Skye uses Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo, a two-step cream that's been discontinued. "It's very gentle, it never leaves scars — I've tried a lot of things because I tend to get a little mustache sometimes," she said.

Next, she took us through her skin-care routine, which features Clinique Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam ($22), Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion ($17), Caudalie Beauty Elixir ($18), and a sheet mask that she found in the airport on her way back to New York. (Gotta love variety!)

After finishing things off with KNC Beauty's Retinol Infused Eye Mask ($5), Skye took us through her relatively simple makeup routine for the day, an emerald eyeshadow look since green is her favorite color. Check out the video above to see the final look.
