Scalp

Get softer, shinier hair by targeting your treatment to where it matters the most: your scalp. A natural scalp exfoliator will not only help to soothe itchy skin and treat dandruff caused by the dry, cold weather, it will help to nourish your hair cuticles and rinse away months of buildup from styling products.

What you need:

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

In a small bowl, combine the coconut oil with the lemon juice. Next, apply the treatment to your scalp using a cotton ball and gently massage in circular motions. Leave the treatment in for 15 minutes before following up with your usual shampoo and conditioner.

Cuticles

With your hands constantly in motion, your cuticles are bound to take a beating, especially in colder months. After treating your skin with the nourishing body wash and lotion, hone in on your nails with a gentle cuticle oil. The treatment will help to repair the damaged skin around your nails while softening and adding much-needed moisture.

What you need:

  • 1 tablespoon vitamin E skin oil
  • 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
  • 10 drops essential oil

In a small bowl, combine the vitamin E oil, grapeseed oil, and drops of essential oil. Pour the oil mixture into a glass bottle with a dropper. Then, using the dropper, apply one to two drops on each nail and massage the treatment into the surrounding skin.
