At this season's New York Fashion Week, the makeup looks were uncharacteristically bold in comparison to past years that historically included barely there makeup. In a welcomed change, makeup artists showed off their creativity with some seriously colorful eye looks. We are loving the imaginative trend so much, we might not be able to wait until the warm weather returns to try out the saturated shades.

Ahead, you'll find some of the New York fashion shows' most daring looks, as well as products and tips to re-create them yourself.

Sorbet Eyes

At Anna Sui, iconic makeup artist Pat McGrath gave a handful of models "kaleidoscope" eyes in bright yellow and pink hues.

Nars Pure Pops Single Eyeshadow

To wear a similar look, smear the colors on your lids and apply a wash of a yellow shadow like Nars Pure Pops Single Eyeshadow in Duoro ($19) and a bright pink blush under your eyes.

Electric Eyes

At Zero + Maria Cornejo, neon eyeliner — like the orange you see here — reigned supreme.

Too Faced Sketch Marker Liquid Eyeliner

Use a brightly hued pen liner like the Too Faced Sketch Marker Liquid Eyeliner ($20) to draw sharp wings across your lids.

Glitter Moment

At Kate Spade, gold glitter was pressed onto the models' lids for a shimmering effect.

MAC Glitter

To get a similar look, press the MAC Glitter in Yellow Gold ($22) onto your eyes.

Liquid Gold

At Kim Shui, the models' antique gold eyes reminded us of the versatility of metallic shades.

Touch in Sol Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Eye Shadow Duo

The Touch in Sol Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Eye Shadow Duo ($25) gives you two options for shine: glitter and foil.

Pointillism

At Lanyu, the models' eyes were adorned with what looked like abstract paintings.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette

Experiment on your lids and lips by mixing hues in the cream Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette ($48).

Vampire Liner

Models walking the Libertine runway got a gothic makeover thanks to bold, jet-black eyeliner.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner

To get the liner look, grab an angled brush and a gel liner like the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner ($27).

Watercolor Liner

At Pyer Moss, the makeup artist experimented with a variety of colored eyeliners softly blended together.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

You can try a few colorful liners like the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils ($21 each) and blend them gently together with a pencil brush to get a watercolor effect.

Aqua Eye Shadow

Aside from the oversize floral hair accessories, Rodarte's show included blue shadow that would make even Barbie envious. James Kaliardos used Nars products to create the colorful makeup look.

Giorgio Armani Eye Tint

Start off easy with a wash of the bright hue by using the Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in Jade ($39).

Starry Eyes

There was a major shimmer moment at Tadashi Shoji inspired by the galaxy and stars.

Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

An easy way to get an equally bold look is with the holographic Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Into the Blue ($24).

Fairy Wings

The makeup look at The Blonds' show was inspired by Disney villains. The neon green liner, however, is worthy of a princess.

Dior Diorshow On Stage Eyeliner

Add a pop of color to your eyes with a slick cat eye, using the Dior Diorshow On Stage Eyeliner in Mattepop Green ($31).

Neon Mascara

At Ulla Johnson, models wore neon pink mascara that made the whites of their eyes pop.

Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Vinyl Couture

Swipe on some Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Vinyl Couture in I'm the Madness ($29) and keep the rest of your eye area bare to show off this bold trend.
