This K-Beauty Brand Is Selling Ramen-Inspired Makeup, and We Have Some Questions

It's easy to assume that, of all the things beauty brands choose to draw inspiration from, ramen wouldn't make the list. But here we are in 2018, where we now have the luxury of purchasing an entire line of beauty products all inspired by instant noodles — what a time to be alive.

According to Allure, K-beauty brand TonyMoly is collaborating with Samyang's Buldak Spicy Chicken Ramen on a cosmetics collection inspired by the popular dish. (For reference, Samyang is the same company that produces Nuclear Hot Chicken Ramen, which was the subject of the Nuclear Fire Noodle Challenge that went viral on social media last Summer.) The Buldak Spicy Chicken Ramen doesn't pack as much of a punch as its nuclear counterpart, but it's still managed to grow in popularity despite its spicy reputation.

The lineup, which launched in Korea in early September, includes four items: the Hot Coverdak Cushion, a cushion compact foundation that comes with a refill in the shape of a hot sauce packet; the Noodle Blusher that comes in two different colors, a bright red and soft pink; a Lip Sauce Tint in the shades Spicy Red and Cheese Red; and the Lip Care Stick, a balm.

The collection isn't available in the US via the TonyMoly website, but we've reached out to the brand to find out where American ramen- and beauty-lovers alike can pick up the products. To be determined if they are just as spicy as the real thing.
