Ariana Grande made a surprise appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Tuesday night, as she joined forces with James to surprise some very talented fans. While she was there, James couldn't resist sitting down with her to congratulate her on the incredible success that she's had following the release of her album Thank U, Next. Ariana made history this week by occupying the top three slots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the first artist to do so since The Beatles (and the first solo artist ever). Ariana already commented on the honor via social media, but we got to see that excitement (and disbelief) in person when she sat down to chat with James. The two couldn't hide their excitement as they grinned and chatted over each other, before James brought out a cake and pulled Ariana into a hug, saying, "I mean this from the bottom of my heart. After everything you've been through this past 12 months, I think it is a wonderful thing and you should enjoy this moment and be incredibly proud of it." We couldn't have put it better ourselves.
