Michelle Obama's Inspiring Speech Is All About Girl Power

Michelle Obama took the stage on Saturday night at BET's 2015 Black Girls Rock! event, where she gave an empowering and passionate speech. The first lady looked gorgeous in a white, off-the-shoulder dress and started by declaring, "Black girls rock! To all the young women here tonight, and all across the country, let me say those words again: Black girls rock!" Michelle, who was at the event to help celebrate the accomplishments of women of color in education, social justice, music, literature, and film, continued, "No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, you are beautiful, you are powerful, you are brilliant, you are funny. Let me tell you, I am so proud of you. My husband, your president, is so proud of you. And we have such big hopes and dreams for every single one of you."
