Tiffany Haddish Holds Her Weighted Blanket Near and Dear, Because Who Needs a Guy Anyway?

Tiffany Haddish's career may have just recently started heating up, but her love life has taken a turn in the opposite direction. And thanks to her recent Emmy win and a handy weighted blanket, she's pretty OK with that. The comedian sat down with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night's episode of The Late Show to discuss her future movie-making plans when she went into how her busy schedule — she has three movies set to debut in the next few months — doesn't leave her with much time for romance.

"I haven't been dating," she told the host. "I mean, my relationships — my personal relationships — haven't been that good, but I have been keeping up with my weighted blanket and my toys that I get off of Groupon. And batteries — batteries are a girl's best friend." Pretty much everyone should know how sex toys work at this point, but for anybody who still has a few questions about the purpose of weighted blankets, allow Tiffany to elaborate.

"A weighted blanket is a blanket is filled with — I think it's sand? I'm not sure what the material is, but it's like 25 pounds, right? And then you can throw that over your legs, and then you spray a little cologne over it, and you throw it over your arms and it feels like a man is holding you," she explained to Colbert. "And you snuggle up in it. Then you open up your nightstand drawer, put your batteries in, and go to sleep." Have you ever heard of a more genius idea?

In all seriousness though, Tiffany later added that she's waiting for the right man to come along — but until then, all she needs is her weighted blanket and a few batteries.
