Adele Gives an Extremely Sick Fan From Northern Ireland the Surprise of a Lifetime

Adele just provided everyone with yet another reason to worship at her feet. After kicking off her tour in Belfast, Northern Ireland, last month, the "When We Were Young" singer gave an extremely sick 12-year-old fan named Rebecca Gibney the surprise of a lifetime when she casually dropped by her home to say hello. Rebecca's mother, Tracy Gibney, says her daughter suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy and is unable to walk, talk, or see. Still, the preteen finds joy in Adele's music and has become quite a big fan. Because of this, her mother started a Change.org petition to have Adele come visit her, and luckily the icon happened to see it.

"It happened!!! Thank you so much for liking and sharing everyone," Tracy wrote on a Facebook community page about Adele's surprise. "I'm overwhelmed and couldn't be any happier for my baby, still in shock. Adele is just amazing." She posted photos to Twitter that show Adele's sweet meeting with Rebecca, and it's safe to say they'll melt your heart.
