Liza Koshy, Kerry Washington, and More Stars Team Up to Encourage Voter Registration

It's National Voter Registration Day, and some of Hollywood's biggest names want to make sure your voice is heard come the midterm elections this November. On Sept. 20, When We All Vote ā€” the initiative geared around increasing voter participation ā€” shared a video featuring stars like Liza Koshy encouraging registration as part of the organization's National Voter Registration Week of Action from Sept. 19-25.

In the video clip, YouTube star Bretman Rock says, "If we're going to celebrate this day right, I need you to do these three things." Those things include checking your voter registration status online, as well as texting three friends and asking them to "check their registration status, too," When We All Vote creator and former First Lady Michelle Obama adds. She also encourages those watching to "get involved with When We All Vote and volunteer to help get your community registered and ready to vote" in order to "create a better future for us all."

Other stars have posted on social media in collaboration with When We All Vote, including Kerry Washington and Yvette Nicole Brown. The organization additionally hosted a Supermajority x Argent pop-up in New York City on Tuesday, with several celebs (and POPSUGAR!) stopping by to promote the #VotingSuitsYou campaign.

When We All Vote, which is nonpartisan, "brings together individuals, institutions, brands, and organizations to register new voters across the country and advance civic education for the entire family and voters of every age to build an informed and engaged electorate for today and generations to come. We empower our supporters and volunteers to take action through voting, advocating for their rights, and holding their elected officials accountable," according to its website.
