I Guess Chrissy Teigen and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Are Planning a Grammys Pizza Party Without Me?

"Who's coming to your dream dinner party?" It's a game I've played on many long road trips and first dates, with answers changing over the years. In 2019, however, I can confidently say Chrissy Teigen and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would easily make my list of invited dream guests. So imagine my surprise when my pretend BFFs started planning a Grammys pizza party for Sunday's show . . . without me? I'm completely fine, but let's dissect exactly how this happened.

Shortly after she tweeted a video of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticizing campaign finance laws, Chrissy asked the "hero" congresswoman to join her for the Grammys on Sunday.

Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson graciously offered up his pizza slices if Alexandria would consider joining the party.

Chrissy enlisted Jesse's help even further and asked him to reassure Alexandria, the guest of honor, that everyone attending will be "normal."

Jesse came through, and not only gave up his pizza portion, but vouched for Chrissy's "chill" party nature too. Personally, I love chill parties. Would love to be invited to one someday.

She's in! The dream dinner party became a reality when Alexandria suggested they live-tweet the experience. Since they'll be busy cooking, you know who's got two thumbs and loves to tweet? This girl.

The party plans appear to be a done deal, but we'll find out for sure on Sunday. If the only qualifications to join are different strengths and the tendency to burn things, then I'd sure like to throw my hat in the ring for the next one!
