From Miley Cyrus to Barbara Palvin, Dylan Sprouse's Romances Over the Years
Dylan Sprouse's most famous relationship is perhaps the one he shares with his twin brother, Cole, whom he's been acting alongside since they were just 6 months old. The siblings have grown up in the spotlight, with roles as Ross Geller's son, Ben, on "Friends"; in "Big Daddy" alongside Adam Sandler; and on Disney Channel's "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," just to name a few.
Just as Sprouse's relationship with his brother flourished in the public eye, his personal life has also garnered attention. While there was surely some puppy love in Sprouse's life as a young man, his romance with model Barbara Palvin made headlines in 2018. The two have been going strong ever since, often hitting the red carpet together and sharing their adoration for one another on social media.
To make matters even more exciting, according to "Entertainment Tonight," Sprouse and Palvin are engaged. "They have been showing off her ring to people and are so happy," a source recently told ET. "They're always very in love with one another and by each other's sides, but they're even happier than usual. They can't wait to start this new chapter together." Neither Sprouse nor Palvin has publicly addressed the engagement rumors.
Palvin may be Sprouse's forever love, but if you're wondering who else he's dated through the years, keep reading.
Sprouse previously opened up about dating Miley Cyrus when they were both stars on the Disney Channel. He was starring on "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody," while Cyrus was working on "Hannah Montana." Sprouse once joked about his very short-lived romance with Cyrus during a 2008 appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (via Elle). "We met at her set, I believe, and we dated," Sprouse said before joking, "And then Nick Jonas walked by and it was over."
While not a whole lot is known about Sprouse's relationship with Frazer, the former couple made headlines in August 2017 when she accused the actor of cheating on her, per "Entertainment Tonight." "When you find out your bf cheated on you lol," Frazer wrote alongside a selfie of herself crying on Instagram, according to the outlet.
Days later, Sprouse — who had been linked to Frazer since 2014 — spoke out about the claims in a series of tweets (via "ET"), writing, "I will say this and only this: by adhering to an assumption based on limited information, you neglect the complicated nature of this issue. The truth always has two sides, and those sides have motivations, and those motivations, despite how cloudy they currently seem, are private."
"This is complicated and it will remain complicated, but those who know me and who have known me, know well enough what kind of person I am," he added. "And that is all."
Sprouse first caught the attention of Palvin at a party back in 2017, but they didn't instantly connect. Things escalated when the actor slipped into the model's Instagram DMs after she followed him after the event, but she opted to wait a while before responding.
"She followed me, so I was like, I guess I'll give her something. And I slid into her DMs," Sprouse shared with W magazine in 2019. "I was like, 'Hey, I don't know if you're in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here's my number.' And she didn't message me for six months."
Palvin, however, had good reason for not replying. "I took my time," she said. "I knew I wasn't in a good mindset at the time, and maybe deep inside I knew that it could be something more."
Sprouse added: "I'm not one to chase. If I get left on read after putting out my number, f*ck that. I'm crying internally, but outwardly. . . . So I ended up booking a movie and going to China for a six-month shoot. My manager was with me and asked, 'Dylan, is there anything you wish you had wrapped up before you left?' And number one, I wish I was there for the opening of my brewery. And for the first time in six months, Barbara popped in my head, and I thought, I wish I had time to take this girl on a date. Ten minutes later, Barbara texts me for the first time in six months."
The couple made their relationship Instagram official in August 2018 when Palvin shared a sweet birthday tribute for her boyfriend. "Even though it's your birthday I feel I just got the biggest present of all ♥️🤗Happy birthday Boss Baby 🎂," she wrote alongside a selfie of the two.
In January 2019, the duo cemented their love by moving into a New York City apartment together, showing off their amazing views in an Instagram post. And now, four years later, it's reported they're engaged.
