Ireland Baldwin Gives Birth to Her First Child and Shares a Sweet Photo

Ireland Baldwin is officially a new mom. The 27-year-old writer and daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger has given birth to her first child, a baby girl she named Holland, with her musician boyfriend, RAC (aka André Allen Anjos).

Ireland shared the news via Instagram on May 18 (though it's unclear when the baby was born), posting a photo of her and RAC cuddling in a hospital bed as she holds baby Holland. While we can see a tiny glimpse of the baby, she's almost entirely obscured by a blanket.

Baldwin's friends and family showed up in full force in the comments section to display their love and support. "Omg omg hi sweet girl 😍 we can't wait to squeeze you," Rumer Willis wrote, while Meghan Trainor added, "OMG YAYYYYYY CONGRATSSSSS MAMA." Other commenters included Ireland's cousins Hailey Bieber and Alaia Baldwin.

Ireland's stepmother, Hilaria Baldwin, left two heart emoji in the comments section and dedicated an Instagram post on her own feed to her stepchild becoming a mom. "All of these aunties and uncles and us grandparents are so excited that Holland is here!!!" Hilaria captioned a photo with Alec and their seven children. "Congratulations to the mama and papa, Ireland and Andre 🫶🏼. We love you so very much!"

In a Jan. 31 episode of the "Girlboss Radio" podcast, Ireland revealed Holland's name and what type of life she intends to give her new daughter. "What I'm most excited about is really more centered around a lot of things I really wanted in terms of stability as a child myself that I didn't have," Baldwin shared. "What's kind of exciting is I get to raise this little human and do things completely differently than what I was taught was the norm. It's cool that I get to unconditionally love this person and do my best to make her as equipped for this world and badass as possible."
