Colin Hanks Made a Movie About Tower Records, and It Looks Fantastic

Remember when people used to go to the store to look at records and actually talk to each other about them . . . in person? Colin Hanks does, and he interviews some major talent in his upcoming documentary at Tower Records, All Things Must Pass. Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen, and Elton John are just a few of the famous faces in the trailer for the film, which debuted at the South by Southwest Film Festival this year. It chronicles the epic rise and fall of Tower Records, the place to be before the dawn of digital music. The movie looks great, and it'll open in limited release in September.
