On the eve of American Horror Story: Apocalypse, FX finally gave us a good hard look at the major players of the season. Truth be told, we'd already seen the characters in action when the full trailer dropped, but now we get to really study the strange new additions. Naturally, promotional material has seriously ramped up in the past month leading up to the premiere. In addition to the unsettling posters and spine-tingling teasers, we've also recently been treated to a hint at the series connections to come. And now, behold! Our merry cast of postapocalyptic survivors!
Sarah Paulson as Ms. Wilhemina Venable
While she may not be the "Big Bad" of the season, it's clear that Venable isn't any good either. As the woman who runs Outpost Three, she seems pretty keen on keeping things in order . . . her order.
Kathy Bates as Ms. Miriam Mead
For all intents and purposes, Ms. Meade appears to be Venable's right-hand woman. And they both seem to relish the opportunity to put others in their place.
Joan Collins as Evie Gallant
We don't know a lot about Collins's character Evie Gallant. But we do know she's related to Evan Peters's character, Mr. Gallant. And that she's fierce as f*ck.

Speak of the devil! It seems Mr. Gallant doesn't yet have a first name attached to him, which is pretty suspicious if you ask me. Oh well!
Leslie Grossman as Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt
Here's what we know so far about Coco: she leaves her husband for dead, gets on a plane with Mr. Gallant and Evie Gallant, and finds Outpost Three to be boring. That's a lot.
Cody Fern as Michael Langdon
Ah, yes. The Antichrist himself! Don't forget to brush up on his backstory before we dive in.
Ashley Santos as Emily
We don't know much about Emily, but we do have a pretty wild theory about her. Of course.
