Eddie Redmayne Won Over the Entire Crowd
Right when we thought there wouldn't be any surprise wins, The Theory of Everything's Eddie Redmayne won for best actor. He was so excited, and his speech was so lovely that we basically all fell in love with him. He was a first-time nominee, so it was especially touching to see him take home the win.
