Do Not Start Watching Daredevil Season 2 Until You Read This
Matt Murdock is back in action! The Hell's Kitchen hero returned for a second season of Daredevil on Friday, but before you jump in, you need to remember a few things about how season one ends. Unless you've recently gotten into the show, it's probably been awhile since you watched the finale. Do you even remember if Wilson Fisk is dead or alive? No? You do remember who Wilson Fisk is, right? No shame if you don't. Here's a rundown of the main things to remember before you start your binge session, and make sure you've caught all the trailers and checked out the pictures from season two.
Ben Urich Is Dead
Unfortunately, villain Wilson Fisk murders our intrepid reporter Ben Urich on the second-to-last episode of season one.
Karen Isn't Handling It Well
Everyone feels guilty about Ben's death, but no one is having a harder time than Karen. She had essentially roped Ben into the whole mess with Fisk, and though his widow assures her it's not her fault, she's still taking the blame.
Marcy Leaks Files on Fisk
Marcy spends most of season one being kind of terrible, but she eventually makes up for it by stealing documents on Fisk from her law firm. Matt and Foggy use the files to take down Fisk in court.
Matt and Foggy Make Up
Foggy is superpissed when he finds out that Matt is the masked vigilante protecting the city (because they're best friends and all), but the characters bury the hatchet on the finale. Nelson and Murdock are back in business!
Wilson Fisk Has Been Put Away For Good
While Fisk at first escapes police custody, Daredevil takes him down in an epic (and bloody) battle. His season one storyline ends in a high-security prison cell. Fisk is a great starter villain, but now we have the Punisher to look forward to meeting!
Matt Gets His Real Daredevil Suit
Season one is all about Matt finding his identity as Daredevil, but his journey doesn't come full circle until he gets his suit at the end. Gone are the days of sporting black with a beanie pulled over his face! The costume is a bit bulky, but we'll see if that changes on season two.
