Eva Marie Says There's "a Ton More Drama" Coming Up on Total Divas

Season four of Total Divas is in full swing, and things are as dramatic as they've ever been — especially for veteran WWE Diva Eva Marie. She's been laying low the past couple seasons and focusing on her family, but this time around, she's taken the brunt of the criticism from fellow Divas. We caught up with her to talk about what it's been like to be the center of attention (not in a good way) and what else we can expect from the rest of the season. Check it out, and take a look at all the life lessons you learned from Total Divas.

POPSUGAR: Is it hard to hear people talking about your diva attitude?

Eva Marie: It is. People have been talking about my diva attitude, and I definitely don't think that is the case. If anything, all I am really trying to do is get better at my job and be a better entertainer all around, so when it comes to any type of negativity, yeah sure, I am human. It hurts my feelings, but at the end of the day I want to be the best diva I possibly can be and that is really the goal at hand.

PS: You don't see everything until it's on the air, and even though you may have reconciled with people, you see the show and they are talking about you. Do you guys have conversations about "Hey you are going to see this on the show, but we are cool"?

EM: Sometimes that happens, but you also have situations where it is almost like you are reliving it and then emotions get brought up again because you just saw something that transpired that you didn't think happened, and so now you are a little bit upset. You have to go through it and work it out, but it is all a part about being a sisterhood and working with one another and no matter what, everyone is going to get through everything.

PS: Were there any moments this year when the cameras were capturing your personal moments and you wish they weren't there?

EM: No, not really. I have gotten a lot better at just living my life on camera and not trying to hold back too much, just because that is when people can relate to the most. If anything, and I don't know if it will end up making the show or not, but I was pretty bummed out and devastated with everyone talking about my training. But, that's just because no one likes to hear people are talking bad about you, you know? That was definitely a tough pill to swallow.

PS: What's one scene that you are excited for fans to see, or hoping they put in?

EM: What is so great is that you are really going to see the struggle in training and see how hard it is to be a WWE Diva. On the seasons before, you didn't really get to see behind the scenes. You got to see the glitz and the glam of performing on Monday Night Raw in front of thousands of people, or seeing a Wrestlemania moment, but fans are really going to see that it is so much more than that. I am training in a garage or in the performance center in Orlando, so it is a difficult job. You are going to see me go from zero to where I have progressed to now, so I think that is kind of cool.

PS: Anything else we should know about what is coming up on the season?

EM: A ton of more drama! Everything is pretty crazy. I think this season is probably our best season just because of so many outside things going on as well as inside.

PS: When you say outside and inside things what are you referring to?

EM: Outside in the sense of you see Brie and Bryan going through their personal issues about conceiving a child and making that decision. Trinity and Jon embracing Jon's children as her own. Those are factors outside wrestling, personal issues, that everyone has to walk through day to day.

PS: Do you have traditions for watching the show?

EM: It depends on where we are. I try to tune in, that way I can interact with somebody on social media via Twitter, but sometimes we are in a plane or not able to watch. I do love to interact with viewers who are watching the show at that moment.
