Gilmore Girls Has Already Dropped So Many Instagram Hints About the Revival Plot

Gilmore Girls fans have been waiting with bated breath since Netflix announced that they would revive the show in a four-part series titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. But Netflix knows that they can't keep us waiting forever, which is why they've been teasing us with Instagram snaps straight from Stars Hollow. These snippets from the set, which feature familiar references to the beloved TV show, only fuel the fire of our curiosity about the reunion series. Specific references have even inspired some theories, so here's what you can glean from the show's mysterious snaps. Oh, baby! (Literally.)

Luke's Diner is still open for business.

This snap, which features two steaming cups of Luke's coffee, implies that Rory and Lorelai still make frequent trips to Luke's diner for their caffeine fix.

And they've improved their eating habits . . . well, a little bit.

Since when do the Gilmore girls order only one serving of anything? This is a huge change.

Taylor is still running the Stars Hollow show.

If this town meeting sign is any indicator, Taylor Doose is still the head honcho when it comes to all things Stars Hollow.

Kirk's career is a little more legitimate.

Look at the VHS-sleeve quality on A Film by Kirk! Could it be that one of the jack of all trades' career paths finally stuck?

But wait . . . is Lorelai pregnant?!

As we noted in another post, this snap of Pop-Tarts and fruit isn't just a reference to Rory's Chilton days . . . it is also a reference to Lorelai's pregnancy craving, apples. Could she be expecting another little Gilmore girl?

And somebody has a special event — but who?

Lorelai's favorite lipstick, "Vicious Trollop," makes an appearance next to a makeup palette and another red lipstick . . . but what's that in the mirror's reflection? A white garment bag hanging in the closet? This could be a wedding preparation scene in disguise.

Lane's band is together, or at least reuniting.

Though Zach and Lane left off with twin boys and an unsure future, this snap would indicate that their band, Hep Alien, is back and better than ever. Thanks to a reunion snap from Brian actor John Cabrera months ago, we already know that all four of the Hep Alien bandmates will be returning for the Netflix series and Lane was recently seen rocking out in the latest trailer.

Paris has a new job.

When we last saw Paris at the end of season seven she had decided to go to medical school, but in the reboot's recent trailer, Paris was seen back at her old stomping grounds. Is it possible that Paris is the new headmistress at Chilton?
