The Mandalorian TV Series Trailer
The Fierce Trailer For The Mandalorian Reveals the Harsh Side of the Star Wars Galaxy
The Mandalorian Trailer #2
"Bounty hunting is a complicated profession," and the second trailer for the Disney+ series The Mandalorian proves just how accurate that is. Disney dropped the first look at the Star Wars spinoff series at its biannual D23 convention back in August and followed it up with a second trailer on Oct. 28.
The clips definitely provide an idea of what fans have to look forward to. The footage shows the lone warrior known as the Mandalorian (played by Pedro Pascal) as he navigates the outer reaches of the galaxy, known to now be a lawless post-Imperial world. It also gives brief glimpses of the rest of the show's cast, which includes Gina Carano as Cara Dune and Carl Weathers as Greef, as well as Werner Herzog, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, and Omid Abtahi.
The series takes place after 1983's Return of the Jedi and the downfall of the Empire, following the Mandalorian as he is sent on a mission to collect something of great value for a guild of Bounty Hunters. From the looks of the trailer, he definitely won't be having an easy time of it. Watch the video above, and keep an eye out for when The Mandalorian drops for streaming exclusively on Disney+ on Nov. 12.
