The main message in the trailer for HBO's new comedy-drama Togetherness? Growing up is hard to do. Whether you're a married couple going through the 10-year itch like Brett (Mark Duplass) and Michelle (Melanie Lynskey), a single lady (Amanda Peet), or an out-of-place dude (Steve Zissis), life comes with serious challenges. The series, from Duplass and his brother, Jay, revolves around this group of adults who find themselves living under one roof. It looks both heartwarming and heartbreaking, and as much as I've been enjoying seeing Duplass on The Mindy Project, this emotionally driven show feels way more up his alley. The show starts on Jan. 11, the same night that Girls returns!
