A Rundown of Meredith's 4 Main Men on Grey's Anatomy

Meredith's one true love is, and always will be, Derek. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, but there's something deeper about their love. Sure, Meredith may appear cold and somewhat distant, but Derek isn't without his issues either. They embrace one another's quirks and flaws, and work hard at making their relationship work. They're also both super hot, and that never hurts.

Meredith and Finn's relationship is sweet and swift. Finn is a doctor (of course!) — the only difference is that his credentials are of the animal variety. So when Meredith's dog gets sick, it's Finn (aka McVet) to the rescue. It may seem as though Finn is a rebound relationship for Meredith post-Derek, but their relationship is genuine, simple, and undramatic. Everything is going swimmingly until Derek declares his undying love for Meredith at the Seattle Grace Prom of all places! Unfortunately, Finn is no match for Derek and the rest is history.

William Thorpe is a doctor at Bauer Army Medical Center. He is very attractive and very into Meredith. Sadly, she doesn't realize he's flirting with her at first. Meredith is still reeling from the death of Derek and confused by Thorpe's advances. He convinces her to go for drinks; they do and it's fine. However, on the third date, they hook up and Meredith freaks out. It's clear that Meredith is not ready to hook up with anyone, let alone have a relationship. Needless to say, Thorpe is kicked out pretty quickly, which is a shame as he's so pretty.

A friend of April Kepner and a former enemy of Owen Hunt, Nathan Riggs has been ruffling feathers ever since he first stepped foot into Grey Sloan Memorial. Meredith is adamant that she is still not ready to hook up with anyone. However, when Riggs begins to argue with her in the parking lot, all bets are off. Meredith jumps Riggs's bones and they let off some steam in her car . . . four times. Meredith is still hesitant to pursue anything serious with Riggs, especially now that Maggie has revealed her feelings for him. We'll have to wait and see how their relationship progresses as season 13 continues to unfold.
