Becky G Seemingly Addresses Sebastian Lletget Relationship in Fiery New Song, "La Nena"

Is Becky G's new song about Sebastian Lletget? On June 28, the 26-year-old singer dropped her highly anticipated collaboration with Gabito Ballesteros, "La Nena," and the empowering track and sexy music video center on a woman choosing to dance through life despite having a broken heart.

In the track, Ballesteros begins by singing in Spanish, "Quiere olvidarse del cabrón que no valora / Que está con ella y a la vez con otra," which translates to, "She wants to forget about the bastard who doesn't value / Who is with her and at the same with another."

Another standout lyric is when Becky shouts: "Mejor sola que mal acompañada" which means, "Better alone than in bad company."

But perhaps the most telling lyrics are in the chorus when Becky and Ballesteros both sing, "Baila sola y si supiera / Que bella es soltera /Lo siento, bebé / Le dedicó su ex, el que no la supo querer / Ese güey ya cayó en cuento y es noche de fiestón / La nena brilla y no llega el bajón / Aunque llore el corazón." The lyrics translate to: "She dances alone and if she only knew / How beautiful she is single / I'm sorry, baby / Her ex dedicated to her, the one who didn't know how to love her / That guy already fell in the tale and it's a night of party / The girl shines and the downturn doesn't come / Even if the heart cries."

Becky and Lletget got engaged this past December after six years of dating. However, their engagement bliss was short-lived following allegations of cheating on the FC Dallas soccer player's part. On March 27, Lletget addressed the allegations in a since-deleted Instagram note, opening up about "a moment I regret deeply." He wrote, "A 10 minute lapse in judgment resulted in an extortion plot. Since this person did not get what they wanted it has now become a public social media spectacle filled with more lies than any truth and false posts aimed at the love of my life, the one person who I should never take for granted or put at risk."

According to Lletget, he had never met the "anonymous internet stalker" who was behind the widely shared video of his alleged cheating, though he said the online speculation served as a wake-up call for him. "I can't keep running from demons," Lletget continued. "I know that any actions made that put us here should have never happened to begin with. Pushing right up to the very boundaries of lines that should never be crossed only hurts me and the people I love most. This past week of chaos & pain has forced me to face the consequences of my actions, my fears & my lapses from the past."

It's unclear if Becky and Lletget are still together. She hasn't been seen wearing her engagement ring since the allegations surfaced, though they both are still following each other on Instagram. Becky has not directly commented on the matter either, but she did seemingly allude to the cheating rumors during her Coachella performance in April. "Sometimes things don't go the way you plan, I'll just say that. But sometimes, it's not rejection, it's redirection," Becky told the crowd before launching into a performance of her hit song "Mamiii," which is about starting over after ending a toxic relationship.
