Esteemed Director Mike Nichols Has Died

Legendary director Mike Nichols has died at the age of 83. Mike is esteemed for being one of only 12 individuals to become an EGOT — winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony in his lifetime. The director is survived by wife Diane Sawyer and three adult children. Mike was celebrated by his peers and won a number of awards for his work over the years. He is well known for directing films including The Graduate and Working Girl. In addition to the critical claim he achieved in film, Mike directed a number of Broadway hits and the popular HBO miniseries Angels in America.
