As we patiently wait for season two of Squid Game to arrive, HoYeon Jung is confirming and debunking some of the biggest fan theories surrounding the Netflix show. In a video for Vanity Fair, Jung confirmed that her character, Sae-byeok, will not return for a second season, despite compelling theories that she isn't dead. Fans pointed out that Sae-byeok's death wasn't announced as the show did with the other players. "Maybe Director Hwang needs more stress, but I'm a more peaceful person," she joked.
