The Heartbreaking Reason Julia Louis-Dreyfus Cried Through Her Emmys Speech

On Sunday night, Julia Louis-Dreyfus joined the Emmy Awards winners list and accepted her fifth consecutive award. The actress, of course, won best lead actress in a comedy for her endlessly entertaining role on Veep. And, well, while it may not have been Louis-Dreyfus's first time at the mic, this year's speech was extra emotional. In the speech, she dedicated the award to her father, who, she revealed, just passed away this past Friday. Watch her full, tearful speech above.
