The Video For Miley's "Happy Xmas" Cover Is as Hauntingly Beautiful as the Song Itself

Miley Cyrus is releasing new music, which could be considered a holiday gift in itself! Earlier this month, the singer released her second collaboration with Mark Ronson, a stirring cover of the John Lennon classic "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," and on Thursday, a pared-down performance video was released. The gorgeous rendition also features vocals from John's son Sean Ono Lennon, whom he shared with wife Yoko Ono, and was shot at Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady Studios in NYC. This has always been one of my favorite holiday songs, and I love the extra jolt it gets from Miley's gritty, sweeping voice.
