Currently Can't Stop Thinking About Jason Momoa Scooping Up Timothée Chalamet

The first official Dune trailer is a lot of things: enigmatic, surreal, menacing, extremely hot. Though the three-minute preview will leave viewers and critics alike with plenty to parse through (What are Paul's powers? Who is orchestrating the "extermination"? How are Paul and Chani connected? What in the world is that slug?), there's one moment in particular that has purchased valuable oceanfront real estate in my mind. It is the moment Jason Momoa scoops up Timothée Chalamet.

The moment in question begins about a minute and 10 seconds into the trailer, when Chalamet's regal Paul Atreides reunites with his mentor, Duncan Idaho, portrayed by Momoa. Though Chalamet offers big sad-boy energy throughout the entirety of the trailer, he can't help but emit a wholesome smile as Momoa rushes toward him, lifting up the Gen Z Leonardo DiCaprio like a toddler. It's a cinematic accomplishment.

It's worth noting that this is a trailer in which Chalamet and Zendaya get, like, really, really close to kissing, so if I'm choosing to focus on this moment, you know it's good. Please enjoy a play-by-play ahead before watching the complete trailer, because presumably a lot of other stuff happens too. I just couldn't tell you what.
