Thanks to Ellen, We Finally Got to See Reese Witherspoon Chuck Ice Cream at Meryl Streep

The second season of Big Little Lies may have ended months ago, but don't think we'll forget about the ice cream scene HBO still owes us. After on-set photos emerged of Reese Witherspoon's Madeline Mackenzie chucking an ice cream cone at Meryl Streep's Mary Louise Wright, viewers were heartbroken to later learn that the scene had been cut from the show.

In Witherspoon's recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, however, justice was finally served in the form of a game called "Big Little Scoops." Thankfully, we still have hope that we'll someday be able to watch the real scene: Streep previously revealed that it will be available as a DVD extra.
