Without fail, every December brings an onslaught of car commercials resulting in a happy family marveling over their new gift. During Timothée Chalamet's hosting gig on Dec. 12, Saturday Night Live decided to take a more realistic version of the car commercial. The SNL spoof is so spot on, it's not until the wife and son see the car that the commercials' two paths diverge. "Are you f*cking kidding me Nathan? Did you seriously buy a car without asking me?" says Heidi Gardner, while Chalamet looks on dumbfounded. Between Beck Bennett thinking a car costs $4000 to reiterating the "December to remember" catchphrase, I've not been able to stop thinking about it. Every time a real car commercial comes on now, I can only think of how Bennett pronounces APR. You can watch Chalamet slowly lose respect for his fake father in the video above.
